I was originally going to use fold-up leg brackets, but after trying them I found the structure too unstable. I then built a pocket system that was cheaper and much more sturdy.
The photos are from a previous module that was scrapped, but the system is the same on the Lang module.

I cut the legs from 2"X 2" stock and then drilled holes in one end to accept the 3/8" T-nut and carriage bolt feet. The bolt heads will be fitted with rubber feet later.
The leg assemblies were built checking for square as I went. The assemblies were sized to fit inside the endplates.
The pockets were made from short pieces of 2"X 2" stock and 1/2" plywood. The leg assemblies were used to space the blocks for a proper fit.
Note: module shown is not Lang.
The legs slide into the pockets for a snug fit.

The module is now free standing and level at 50" from the floor.
